Application & Reference of Trimethyl (Methylcyclopentadienyl) Platinum (IV) – 99.95%
This platinum catalyst, known for its hydrogenation efficiency, is primarily used in the production of silicone rubber. It facilitates silicon-hydrogen bond reactions, enhancing the performance of the material.
It is also employed in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) processes.
Platinum nanoparticles are generated by gas-phase loading of volatile platinum compounds onto metal-organic frameworks, followed by reduction with hydrogen at 100 bar pressure. This platinum component demonstrates exceptional catalytic activity, particularly in solvent-free and base-free oxidation of alcohols in air at room temperature.
